Crookabeck Farm

Crookabeck Farm is in Patterdale by Ullswater in the Lake District. The farm is home to our flocks of Herdwick and Red Fox Sheep. The fleeces from our sheep and the goats we used to farm are used to produce a range of mohair and wool products. These include Mohair Socks, Scarves, Rugs and Throws, Natural and Hand Dyed Yarns.

These are all available to buy in our Farm shop and also online.

Crookabeck Farm is a 40 acre farm beneath Place Fell in Patterdale. The farm is in a stunning location with the Kirkstone Pass to Windermere to the south and to the north, England’s most beautiful lake, Ullswater. We overlook the impressive Helvellyn mountain range and Striding Edge.

Crookabeck is named after the Crook in Goldrill Beck which flows round the farm, and looks like a shepherd’s crook from the fell above.
